My journey into finance began at 18, the same age I started trading. After three unsuccessful startup ventures, I founded India’s first Equity Derivatives Hedge Fund in 2012, at 23. What started with a negative net worth transformed almost overnight—within months, I was managing over $100 million. Our fund grew rapidly and soon became one of the largest options trading desks in Asia. The visibility brought with it media attention: I was regularly interviewed on channels such as Bloomberg TV and ET-NOW, and quoted in global publications like Bloomberg News, Newsweek, Mint-Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

In 2015, after three intense and rewarding years, I successfully sold the firm to a Japanese conglomerate. My time as CEO opened doors to global travel, introducing me to visionary entrepreneurs and allowing me to guest lecture at some of the world’s leading business schools.

When I began this journey, I never imagined managing multi-million-dollar portfolios or appearing on television. I simply followed my passion and embraced each opportunity as it came. After achieving (and surpassing) my professional goals, I chose to step away and spend my late twenties exploring the world. Yet, after a year and a half of travel, I found myself eager for a fresh challenge.

I decided to move to Ireland—drawn by its spirit—and pursue chartered accountancy. This transition reinvigorated my career. Completing my ACA exams with Chartered Accountants Ireland has opened new horizons, and I remain involved through participation on various institute committees.

Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy an active lifestyle: playing squash, swimming, and, when weather permits, sailing with my local yacht club. As a certified hobby pilot and true aviation enthusiast, I fly whenever I can, building up hours in different parts of the world.
